The birds have their first retail shop, and it opened in Helsinki, Finland. According to Rovio there were fans camping outside, nights before the opening to be the first to catch the grand opening specials. I thought I was a true gamer, but these folks are hardcore. Come to think about it, I would have probably been there too for the exclusive pictures and interviews.
The megastore of 20,000 square meters opened at 11:11 on 11/11, which seems to be the magic number this year. You can view more photos and fan feedback here on rovio.com. To my surprise nobody has posted videos on the grand opening. This is why Rovio needs a media girl like me; I can’t believe I could not find a single video on this event.
