It just keeps getting bigger and bigger! Let us give a huge congratulations to Rovio, it has reached the astonishing number of a half a billion downloads. This gives a new meaning to “less is more”. As we know it took a .99-cent app to start and it has lead to billions.
Rovio has a released this awesome video, which demonstrates the birds blasting their way to their most important marks reached since they have started. Not only is the video entertaining, but also it is truly compelling watching what they have accomplished. What stood out to me, and seemed almost unrealistic, was the amount of time Angry Birds players have played, which is 200,000 years of worth of game time! (More stats on the video)
To any of you that are dreaming to make it big someday in the entertainment or business world, I hope this video serves as an inspiration to believe in yourself. Could you imagine 4 or 5 years go, somebody approaching you with this idea of making a game about birds blasting pigs into oblivion? How silly do you think that would have sounded? Enjoy readers
